THE ANNUAL DAY NOVENA TO ST. THERESA

The First Day of the Novena began Sunday, September 23 with Liturgy at 5:00 PM followed by Novena and Benediction.  We were privileged to have as our guest Homilist Fr. Charles Connor, the Rector of St. Peter’s Cathedral, Scranton, Pa.  He also was available for a book signing.  He recently wrote a new book on the life of St. Theresa.

The Second Day to the Eighth Day of the Novena Prayers and Benediction were conducted at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. 

The Ninth Day,the Feast of St. Theresa, the Liturgy began at 5:00 PM followed by the Novena Prayers and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.  We were honored to have our Bishop Gregory as the Celebrant and Homilist for the Liturgy.  The Novena Prayers and Benediction followed the Liturgy and a simple reception was served in the parish hall.
