2^nd Annual Blood Drive

In memory of Peter J. Bonczewski, a Blood Drive was scheduled with the American Red Cross for Saturday, July 29 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Church Hall (St. Sharbel Hall).  When Peter needed blood it was there for him and the family wishes to be considerate to others in need.  Everyone was welcome to come and donate blood.

Blood donors began to arrive just as Liturgy was finishing.  Those that attended Liturgy joined with them as they lined up to donate blood.  Parishioners donating blood were Terry Simonovich (foreground) and Joe Osmanski (background).  The Red Cross collected 38 pints of blood, mostly from parishioners of St. Anthony + St. George.

The Kasmarks made it a family affair!  Dad's in the background, Mom's in the foreground, and Adam's in the middle, showing a lot of sole!
